Trees

The magnificent stands of mature trees are a trademark of Glenwood Cemetery.

But our trees are aging and a report by professional arborist Tom Mikel recommends we begin to reforest the cemetery for future generations.

Trees are living gifts that celebrate a past life with their beauty, shade and vital contribution to our environment. Several species of trees are available for selection. The trees are planted annually in the spring and maintained by staff under the guidance of a professional arborist. Trees are guaranteed for five years.

A charitable receipt is issued for the full amount of the purchase together with a memorial certificate. Inscribed stone markers set at the base of each tree are included in the price.
